When I was a teenager I had Fuji ST605N film camera which I Loved, I took thousands of photos and even developed and printed my own black and white images. Throughout my adult life I continued to take photos with film cameras but not as much as I did in my youth, when digital took over from film I didn’t initially take it on but around 3 years ago I bought a Fuji X100s which brought back memories of using my Fuji film camera all those years ago.

The differences from film to digital were vast and I felt I needed some help to improve my photography and post processing skills, I looked around on the internet and thankfully found Kelby Training as it was called at the time, now known as KelbyOne. I was so impressed with Scott Kelby’s teaching techniques and all the other trainers on KelbyOne that I bought a subscription straight away and spent hours watching all the tutorials, I learned so much about digital photography, Lightroom, Photoshop and much more and I still consider my membership fee to be the most value for money purchase I make each year.

Since then my hobby has become an obsession and I really would like to make money from my photography but I can’t decide how and maybe never will but in the meantime I’m trying to build a following on Instagram, it’s slowly growing and I hope one day soon I will have a few thousand followers but we’ll see.

Just this week Scott Kelby released a class on KelbyOne about how to build an audience on Instagram which I would recommend to anyone looking to increase their followers on Instagram.

I hope someday I will have enough followers to get likes in the quantity that I am achieving on other peoples accounts. I am putting into practice Scott Kelby‘s advice so who knows?
